Delay in Altoona child sex trafficking case

Local News

ALTOONA, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – There’s another delay in the case of accused child sex trafficker Dan Peggs. Peggs is the former superintendent of Altoona Schools.

He’s charged with making and receiving child porn and trafficking a teenage girl to produce child porn.

Today, the defense received a two-month extension to review evidence in the case. The court-appointed attorney for Peggs wrote to the judge his office is expecting at least three terabytes of data from a North Carolina case connected to the charges against Peggs.

In that case, Bryan Lee Ragon, pleaded guilty to one of four charges.

The next hearing for Peggs is currently scheduled for December 11.
