Dunn County women found guilty of severe mistreatment of dog

Local News

DUNN COUNTY, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – It took a jury two hours to return two guilty verdicts handed down today against Anne Iehl, the Dunn County woman charged with severely mistreating a dog.

In November 2019, Iehl dropped off a severely malnourished dog named Gabriel at the Dunn County Humane Society, claiming to have found him as a stray.

It was later determined she was the owner.

Gabriel recovered and had since been adopted.

The prosecution asked for a 200-dollar signature bond to be revoked, but the judge hearing the case rejected that request.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 27. A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered.
