There are currently four confirmed cases of covid-19 in Eau Claire county.
In Monday’s media briefing with the Eau Claire City-County Health Department, director Lieske Giese says people may have questions when it comes to the governor’s safer at home order, but she says more details should be coming out today.
“You shouldn’t be running to the grocery store to stockpile. We can’t have that happen. Grocery stores in every other instance in this type of order at the state level have been essential. We all need to eat. You do not need to go out today and make sure that you have groceries,” said Giese.
Giese also says you can still go outside and take a walk, but to avoid larger crowds and to not take part in play dates, game or movie nights.
