EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – An Eau Claire man is facing his 10th O-W-I offense. The criminal complaint says around 2 o’clock Wednesday morning Christopher Raney was driving on Brackett Avenue in Eau Claire when he pulled out in front of a police car and almost hit it. The officer said he saw Raney swerve into traffic. Raney was pulled over and had trouble standing.

The complaint says the officer found a glass pipe and empty liquor bottles in Raney’s S-U-V. He refused to take a preliminary blood test and was arrested. The complaint says Raney has 9 prior O-W-I convictions on his record and his driver’s license is revoked.
