EAU CLAIRE Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – We now know the name of the inmate found dead in the Eau Claire County Jail during the weekend. Sheriff Dave Riewestahl says 29-year-old Silver Jenkins was found unresponsive on Sunday.

The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office and the Eau Claire County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an independent investigation into her death. According to online court records, Jenkins was being held in jail on disorderly conduct and bail-jumping charges.
