EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – An Eau Claire woman already serving prison time for stealing from the Eau Claire County Humane Association is convicted of more charges against her.

48-year-old Nicolle Wilson, seen here at her sentencing hearing in December, entered no-contest pleas to several charges in Eau Claire County court Wednesday including wire fraud against financial institutions, identify theft, and money laundering.

According to the criminal complaint, as a tax preparer, Wilson applied for PPP loans using fake companies she created with her clients’ information. She was sentenced in December to five years in prison. In that case, Wilson tried to cash a $60,000 check from the Eau Claire County Humane Association.
