Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – For the first time, gas prices in all 50 US States hit an average of at least four dollars per gallon. That’s according to data from Triple-A. In California, the price of a gallon of gas climbed above six dollars for the first time.

This comes as global crude oil prices trade near 110-dollars a barrel. One reason for the increases is gas stations are switching to summer blends of fuel, which adds as much as 10 cents per gallon to the cost for motorists.

In Eau Claire, most gas stations are at 4-dollars 18-cents a gallon. In La Crosse, most are around 4 dollars and 14 cents a gallon.
