LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – As police search for the suspects, family and loved ones are mourning the loss of the men killed last week.
24-year-old Peng Lor, 23-year-old Trevor Maloney, and 24-year-old Nemo Yang were the victims of the homicide.
Nemo is being remembered by Megan Daily of Plainview, Minnesota, who says they had been dating for the past month.
Daily says she keeps re-reading the final conversation the two had the night before his death.
“One of the last things he said to me was ‘good night, I love you, I’ll talk to you tomorrow,’ and that was like at 11:30 on Thursday and then he was gone by Friday, and I knew something was wrong because I hadn’t heard from him all day and that was so unusual for him,” said Daily.
Daily wants Nemo to be remembered for the good things he did in his life instead of the mistakes that he made.
The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information that can help the investigation to contact its non-emergency number.
