RICE LAKE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Rice Lake man is dead after two motorcycles collided over the weekend. The Barron County Sheriff’s Department says around 10:15 Saturday night, a report was received of a motorcycle crash on County Highway M east of Rice Lake. An investigation showed two motorcycles traveling south on the highway hit each other causing both to lose control.
37-year-old Charles Kee of Rice Lake was flown from the scene but later died at a hospital. The second driver, 31-year-old Tyler Baker of Rice Lake, fled the scene but was later found. Investigators say a third motorcycle may be involved in the crash. The case is still under investigation.
