MENOMONIE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A former staff member in the School District of the Menomonie Area is accused of having sex with a student. 22-year-old Quinton Williams faces 3 counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff.

The criminal complaint says Williams was a Para Educator at Menomonie High School and began working there in August. It says officers were made aware of the alleged assault on Monday. When they interviewed the student, she admitted they had a sexual relationship and said it was consensual. Williams denied the allegations to officers.

In a letter sent to families and staff, the Menomonie School District Administrator says Williams is no longer an employee of the district and will not be allowed on school property moving forward.
