Holmen man dies in motorcycle crash after speeding away from police officer

HOLMEN, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A 33-year-old Holmen man died in a motorcycle crash Monday.

The Onalaska Police Department says that just before 1 pm on Memorial Day, an officer attempted to pull over a motorcycle for speeding.

However, the driver instead sped away at an estimated 100 miles per hour. The officer then watched as the motorcycle hit another vehicle.

The motorcyclist, Tou Yia Lor was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the other car went to the hospital for injuries related to the crash. Two additional passengers were not harmed.
