Former Packers Hall of Fame receiver Carroll Dale helped supporters raise nearly $60,000 at the 23nd annual Junior Achievement Golf Outing at Wild Ridge Thursday.

“I was honored to participate in the Junior Achievement event and help raise money for such a worthy cause for young people,” Dale said.  “It’s so important for community members to support the mission of Junior Achievement to ensure our youth is prepared for their future careers.  I was very impressed with the community members I met and how they support Junior Achievement.”

“It was a fantastic day for area youth and Carroll Dale,” said Lynn Barrie, JA’s marketing development and manager.  “We raised more than $58,000, which insures 2,300 area students will receive Junior Achievement this upcoming school year.”

Prestige Auto was the title partner and Great Northern was the presenting partner of the event.  FOX 25/48 was the media sponsor.

If you’d like to support the Junior Achievement with a monetary donation or volunteer in the classroom, please contact the JA office at 715-835-5566.
