JACKSON COUNTY, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Shell lake woman has been sentenced after being found guilty of her 7th offense operating while intoxicated.
A Jackson County court ordered 49-year-old Tracie Masuca to three years in prison and three years of extended supervision.
The case was filed in May. In a criminal complaint, authorities claimed a semi driver stopped to help a woman who blew a tire along I-94.
The semi driver claims the woman asked for a ride and noted she showed signs of impairment.
When the Wisconsin State Patrol arrived, a trooper performed several field sobriety tests.
A preliminary breath test showed Masuca had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.
