LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The La Crosse County Health Department announced today that its director is departing.
Jen Rombalski has been the director of the county’s health department for the last five years. She is stepping down after accepting a new role at the Wisconsin Department Of Health Services where she says quote, “I will be able to bring the voice of local public health to the senior leadership table in the division of public health,” end quote.
In her absence, the department will be led by La Crosse County Associate Administrator Jane Klekamp as Interim Director.
