LA CROSSE Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – One of the suspects in a January homicide in La Crosse is out on bond. Karvel Freeman faces multiple charges including 1st degree intentional homicide in connection to the shooting death of Ernest Knox.
A judge initially set a cash bond at 500 thousand dollars back in March. A few months later it was lowered to 200 thousand.
Last week it was changed again setting it at 10-thousand dollars. Freeman bonded out. He is in Milwaukee County under house arrest with GPS monitoring. Another suspect, Nelson Brown is also charged in the shooting death.
