LA CROSSE Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – TSA says a La Crosse resident brought a loaded gun to the Dane County Regional Airport yesterday. The Transportation Security Administration says the incident took place Tuesday morning around 4:20. An officer spotted the image of a handgun on the x-ray screen and immediately contacted the sheriff’s office.

This is the second gun stopped at the Madison airport checkpoint this month. Last year, seven firearms in total were detected. The La Crosse resident could face a fine of nearly 14 thousand dollars for the violation.
