LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A La Crosse man is facing a gun possession charge. Today, a federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin returned an indictment against 30-year-old Shane Tucker. Tucker is charged with Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

The indictment alleges that Tucker possessed a 22-caliber handgun on July 20th. If convicted, Tucker faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in federal prison. The charge is the result of an investigation by the La Crosse Police Department and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
