LA CROSSE Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A La Crosse woman is sentenced on drug charges. The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin says 25-year-old Paige Roberts was sentenced to 20 months in Federal Prison.

She pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiring to distribute meth and fentanyl on May 11th. La Crosse Police began investigating Roberts and her co-defendant Raphiel Kuntu in January 2022 after a housekeeper at a hotel found controlled substances in a hotel room rented by Roberts. In April of that year, a search warrant at a residence Roberts shared with Kuntu uncovered approximately 21 pounds of meth and 2.5 pounds of fentanyl, along with other controlled substances. Roberts’ prison term will be followed by a five-year term of supervised release.
