SIREN, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A man is being held on a one-million-dollar bond after being accused of killing a woman in Burnett County. 36-year-old David Edaburn Jr. was arrested Friday.
The Village of Siren Police Department says dispatch received a call around 2:30 Friday morning from a man asking for children to be removed from a home in the village. The man went on to say he had killed 32-year-old Brittany Hollan. Officers found Hollan in the home, dead from sharp force trauma to the head and neck. They also removed four children who were not hurt.
Edaburn was identified as a suspect and he was found in his home in the Town of Grantsburg. He is being held at the Burnett County Jail pending charges of First-Degree Intentional Homicide.
