MADISON, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The man accused of bringing guns to the Wisconsin Capitol Grounds twice in one day pleaded not guilty during a court appearance. Police say 43-year-old Joshua Pleasnick was arrested on October 4th after he allegedly entered the Capitol Building while openly carrying a handgun. He was charged with carrying a firearm in a public building.

After posting bail, he allegedly returned later that night with an assault rifle. He was detained but not charged as state law allows the open carry of weapons in public. During the hearing, Peasnick pleaded not guilty to the firearms charge and was released on a $500 signature Bond.
