ONALASKA, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Mayo Clinic Health System is planning to expand radiology services in the Coulee Region.

The Onalaska clinic will be the home of a new MRI bay which will include state-of-the-art scanners.

Mayo Clinic Leadership say the expansion will provide high-quality care to patients in southwest Wisconsin.

Dr. Paul Mueller, Southwest Wi Regional Vice President said, “This expanded capability at this site will not only offer access to the best technology but also physicians who interpret those studies and work with patients at finding cures and solutions to their medical problems.”

The project carries an eight-million-dollar price tag, with the new MRI expected to be fully operational in early 2022.
