MELROSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Melrose man is charged in federal court with breaking into the Capitol during the January sixth insurrection.
Joshua Munn along with four members of his family are charged with four counts including knowingly entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct in a capitol building.
According to the criminal complaint, Munn admitted in a Facebook post to being inside the Capitol on January sixth.
He claims he did not break in as the window was already open when he got there.
Munn was released today on a number of conditions, including not possessing any firearms.
He will next appear in court via zoom next Wednesday at 1 pm.
