LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Mid West Music Fest – La Crosse is set to enjoy its 6th year, November 3rd and 4th. Throughout the weekend you can find music of all genres at venues all over town.

The Main – An Event Center is again hosting shows and, for the first time ever, the Weber Center for the Performing Arts and the Pump House Regional Art Center are joining in on the fun. The Grand Ballroom is returning as an intimate listening room for the first time since 2019. Grounded Patio Café and the Charmant Hotel will offer free venues for non-ticket holders.

The festival will kick off Wednesday, November 1st, with a special screening of the 2013 film “Meeting Charlie Parr” at the Rivoli Theatre. The donation-based screening shows at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30.

This year’s lineup includes headliners, bluegrass favorites, Pert Near Sandstone and Cincinnati-based indie-rock band, Motherfolk. Nationally touring acts Ax and Hatchetmen, The Oshima Brothers and Divine Sweater are also on the bill. Fans can catch Charlie Parr, The Nunnery, Mike Munson, ILLISM, Gabacho, Palms Psalm, Luke Callen, TUGG, Gregg Hall and the Wrecking Ball, and many others throughout the weekend. There are also free events on Saturday including a maker’s market, performances at the Weber Center, yoga at the Grand Ballroom, a Kids Art Factory at the Pump House and a guided hike with ORA Trails to Grandad Bluff.

“MWMF is all about finding your next favorite band, and this year is no different,” said MWMF Production Director, Nate Nelson, “Every single one of these acts are amazing and worth the trip down the river, and we’re so excited to have them all in town for our biggest La Crosse party yet.”

Tickets for the two-day fest are on sale for $85 for the weekend, $45 for a single day, and $30 for weekend student tickets. Tickets must be checked in at the Weber Center, where tickets will also be available for sale during the festival beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov 3. Tickets are available online now.
