LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Minnesota woman is charged with homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle for a La Crosse crash earlier this month.

According to a criminal complaint, on Friday June 11 55-year-old Molly Weis failed to stop at a stop sign and hit another vehicle at the intersection of Airport Road and Breezy Point.

The driver of the other car, identified as BMB, was trapped in his truck which had toppled onto its side.

BMB was taken to Gundersen and underwent several surgeries for a pelvic injury. He died eight days later.

No illegal drugs or alcohol are believed to be a factor in the crash.
