TOMAH Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Tomah woman found dead after being missing for more than two weeks died from hypothermia. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the family of Felicia Wanna requested a welfare check for her on January 1st after not hearing from her for more than three days.

She was last seen leaving the Tomah Walmart. Her body was found in a remote area a mile and a half away from Walmart. Investigators determined the main cause of death was hypothermia due to environmental exposure.
