Local News

CUMBERLAND, Wisc. (WLAX) — The Cumberland Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to find a missing woman.

The family of 42-year-old Hailey Anderson said they have not heard from her since last Friday, Sept. 17. She usually talks to them every day.

According to authorities, Anderson was last seen Thursday night leaving the Turtle Lake Casino. That day, police said she made a frantic phone call to a friend expressing concerns about her boyfriend.

Police said she was planning to travel from Cumberland to Hibbing, Minnesota, but she never made it there. She may have been in the Twin Cities area.

Her phone was last active Saturday afternoon near Luck.

Police are also looking for her 1998 red Honda CRV.

Anyone with information should contact the Barron County dispatch.
