Mosinee man charged in connection to disappearance of Cassandra Ayon

Local News

Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Clark County officials have now charged a man with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of a woman reported missing eight months ago.

41-year-old Jesus Contreras Perez of Mosinee was also charged today with hiding a corpse.

An initial appearance for Perez is scheduled for June 15.

The case involves the disappearance of Cassandra Ayon. She was last seen in the unity area in early October, when she left a friend’s house.

A complaint filed today says her vehicle and her body have not been located.

In April, Perez was charged with stalking tied to Ayon’s disappearance. The complaint says Ayon and Contreras Perez have a child together.
