LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A house, garage and camper are all damaged after a fire in la crosse Monday morning. The La Crosse Fire Department says crews responded to the fire just south of downtown after 2 am.

When crews arrived, they found a detached garage and a camper engulfed in flames. First Responders were able to extinguish the fire quickly and keep it from spreading further.

The people who live in the home were there at the time of the fire and were not injured. One person from the fire department was injured while battling the fire. The house took on some damage from the heat of the fire, while the garage and camper were heavily damaged.
