EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Volunteers are working with non-partisan Chippewa Valley Votes to help Wisconsinites figure out their registration status. It’s part of efforts on National Voter Registration Day. L.E. Phillips Memorial Library was one of the locations to get information on voting. That includes help with getting registered and updating registration for those who moved.
Sarah Goulet, a volunteer with the League of Women Voters, says she is glad to help, “We feel it’s important to try to assist people with the voting process all year long. Our main purpose is to help people to learn how to register to vote and to vote.”
There will be more voter registration events around the Chippewa Valley in the coming days.
