EAU CLAIRE Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – We have a first look inside the new Menomonie food market co-op location in downtown Eau Claire. General Manager Crystal Halvorson says the new location will be similar to that of the Menomonie store, but with more space for dining-in and a patio on the second floor as well.
The project costs about 9.5 million dollars, which Halvorson says was funded by thousands of shareholders along with grants and loans. Halvorson says despite construction slowing down a bit, the new store should be ready by Thanksgiving. In the meantime, the location on south Farwell and Washington streets will remain in operation.
