SPARTA, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Criminal charges are not being recommended for an incident at a Sparta daycare. According to the Sparta Police Department, an investigation has been completed following a complaint by a parent of possible sexual misconduct at Great Beginnings Daycare. Due to the age of a juvenile offender, they will be referred through Wisconsin Youth Justice; an oversight program through the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families.

Monroe County Human Services and the Department of Children and Families are also investigating, and the status of those investigations are still unknown.
