No one hurt after Chippewa County ultralight aircraft crash

CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Emergency crews in Chippewa County responded to an aircraft crash between Bloomer and New Auburn.

Alongside County Road Q, North of State Highway 64.

The pilot of the ultralight aircraft was not hurt. He says he was attempting to land nearby when the plane got caught up in the power lines.

No mechanical issues with the aircraft were reported.

The pilot says the aircraft sustained light damage.
