LA CROSSE/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) — Nexstar Media Group, FOX25/48, and Habitat for Humanity are proud to announce the launch of the Remarkable Women campaign, a celebration of the incredible women who have made a significant impact in our communities. We invite the public to participate by nominating remarkable women who embody qualities of community impact, self-achievement, innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

How to Nominate:

To nominate a Remarkable Woman, visit the Nomination Page. Nominations will be accepted until November 30th, 2023. Please note that self-nominations are ineligible for consideration.

Selection Process:

Local market winners’ Nominees will advance to the second semi-finalist regional round, where one regional judge— an employee of Nexstar— will evaluate and select semi-finalist Nominees. The five semi-finalist Nominee winners will then progress to the third and final national round.

National Recognition:

The five national semi-finalist Nominee winners will be individually recognized during the 2024 Remarkable Women Show, scheduled to air in May 2024 on FOX 25/48 (exact time to be determined solely by Nexstar Media Group).

First News at Nine Feature:

Four women, selected from the nominees, will have their remarkable stories shared on First News at Nine, providing a platform to inspire and celebrate their achievements.
