DUNN CO. Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – One person is dead following a house fire Sunday evening in Dunn County. The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office says someone called the fire at around 7 pm Sunday, saying a person was still inside the home.
The home on 1330th Avenue in the town of New Haven, near Boyceville was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. Multiple fire departments worked together for several hours to put the fire out.
The next day, the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office found human remains in the home. The medical examiner’s office and the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office are working to confirm the identity of the victim.
