One person dead after camper crashes,catches fire in Polk County

One person is dead after a fire destroyed a camper in Polk County.
This happened just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday off Ravine drive between Osceola and St. Croix Falls.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Department, evidence shows the camper was going east on Ravine Drive when it veered into a ditch, struck several trees, and then caught on fire.

The person in the camper died.

The name isn’t being released at this time.
