POLK COUNTY Wisc. (WLAX/WEUX) – One person was killed in a crash in Polk County. It happened yesterday around 4:15 in the afternoon, South of Osceola. The sheriff’s office said the driver was trying to go up a hill and lost control. The vehicle slid sideways, crossed the center line, and rolled at least two times. Deputies say it went into the ditch and landed about 150-feet off the road.

The roof had severe damage. Crews tried lifesaving efforts, but the driver died at the scene, and the person’s name hasn’t been released. On Sunday, December 5th, 2021, at 4:14 pm, the Polk County sheriff’s office dispatch center received a call reporting a crash that occurred on 220th street north of 10th avenue in the town of Farmington. It was reported as a single-vehicle rollover crash.
