EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. (WLAX) — With colder weather approaching, Xcel Energy said it may cost more to heat your home this fall and winter.
A rise in natural gas costs could amount to as much as a $45-$65 per month increase in heating bills between November and March, according to Xcel officials.
“This is a really good time for customers to really take a look at how they do heat their homes and businesses for the winter months,” Xcel spokesperson Chris Ouellette said. “This is a good time to make sure that everything’s working in top-notch performance, your furnace is working well, that it’s working at its most efficient use.”
