Shooting at health-care clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota leaves 1 dead and 4 wounded

BUFFALO, Min. (WLAX/WEUX) – Authorities confirm a suspect known to law enforcement has been arrested after a shooting that killed one person and injured four.

The shooting happened just before 11 a.m. Tuesday morning in the city of Buffalo, west of Minneapolis.

The suspect is identified as 67-year-old Gregory Ulrich. While an exact motive isn’t known, authorities say Ulrich has a long history of conflict with health care clinics in the area. All five victims were rushed to area hospitals.

One person has died, three are in critical but stable condition and one victim has been discharged according to North Memorial Health Hospital.

Buffalo’s police chief says the shooting did not appear to be a case of domestic terrorism.
