TOMAH Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – No one is hurt after a fire at a community-based residential home last night in Tomah. When firefighters arrived, they saw heavy fire coming from the building in the 100 block of East Council Street.

The Tomah Fire Chief says it took several hours to contain the fire. He says the building had significant fire and water damage. According to the chief, this fire was unintentional and was caused by the careless use of smoking materials.
