With over 100 activities to choose from, the list suggests everything from pitching a tent in the back yard to writing a hand-written letter to loved ones.
Mayo clinic family medicine physician, Dr. Meredith buck says there are a number of health benefits to turning off the virtual switch.
Dr. Meredith Buck, Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Resident Physician said, “When people spend more time face to face, they’re actually more able to recognize facial expressions and understand the emotions the other person might be feeling…for example increased empathy.
Different trips would be to find a time during the day where the whole family puts their phones away.
