Solar Energy Conference

Local News

The second annual “Solar Power Wisconsin” conference hopes to shine a spotlight on solar energy. The conference was held at CVTC’s energy education center today. It included a vendor fair with solar installers and multiple energy companies. Guest speakers also presented on topics related to solar and renewable energy. Anyone interested could bring their energy bills and get a consultation from solar panel installers on the benefits of installing panels.

Volunteer Hanna Terwilliger: “We’re just really excited that so many people have come out to learn about solar energy. Last year, some people went home and were able to put solar on their homes after that. We’re just really pleased that people in Eau Claire are taking such a big interest in being sustainable and making smart energy choices for their future.”

142 people attended today’s solar power Wisconsin conference.
