LA CROSSE/ EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – As the fight against the COVID-19 continues Health Officials are now reporting over 100 thousand total cases in Wisconsin.
DHS is reporting 1,665 new COVID-19 cases in the state today. The total now sits at just over 101 thousand. DHS says about 85% of those cases are considered recovered.
1 new death is reported today. 1,242 people in total with COVID-19 have died in Wisconsin.
In today’s report, 34 more Wisconsinites are hospitalized in the state due to COVID-19 complications.
In Eau Claire County, 59 new cases are being reported today, this brings the county’s total number of cases of COVID-19 to 1,586.
The death toll remains at 6.
93 more cases are reported in La Crosse bringing the county’s total to 2,568. This represents an increase of 1,123 cases since September 10.
In Dunn County, 26 new cases are reported today, this brings the county’s total tally of cases to 377.
In Chippewa County, 10 cases are being reported, this brings the county’s total to 476 cases.
