Local News

A Missouri man charged in the disappearance of two Shawano County brothers continues to be held without bond after a court hearing Thursday morning.

Court records show Garland “Joey” Nelson appeared in Caldwell County Court on a charge of tampering with a vehicle.

The charge stems from the investigation into the deaths of Nick and Justin Diemel.

Nelson is being described as cooperative, but nelson has a history of misleading police.

Nelson served two years in federal prison for fraud after selling cattle that didn’t belong to him.
