BUFFALO COUNTY Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – No one is hurt after a tanker truck slid off the road in Buffalo County Saturday morning. Sheriff Mike Osmond says the truck was going up a hill on County Highway K in the town of Nelson when it began sliding on ice.
The driver lost control and the truck slid off the roadway into a steep ditch and overturned. No other vehicles were involved, and the driver of the truck was not injured. The sheriff’s department is urging drivers to be cautious due to cold overnight temperatures causing slippery roadways.
