Tomah man apprehended after standoff with police

A Tomah man, said to be the subject of a standoff Wednesday, has been identified. In a release today, Tomah Police say 25-year-old Dalton Hintz had been making death threats through text messages.

Officers arrived at a home at around 6 pm last night where Hintz was believed to be. During 911 conversations, Hintz asked for officers to leave.

Two people inside the home were apprehended by law enforcement with one of them later found to be a victim. No injuries were reported.
