Tomah man dies after motorcycle accident

TOMAH, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Tomah man has died after a motorcycle crash in Monroe County Saturday night.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 10 pm om highway sixteen near Hazel Avenue.

When crews arrived, they found the motorcycle had crashed in the ditch. The driver, 29-year-old William Nelson had been thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Highway sixteen was closed for an hour and a half while crews investigated.
