TREMPEALEAU Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Law enforcement officers released the name of the person who died in a fatal crash in Trempealeau County last week. The sheriff’s office says 64-year-old Jeannie Furlin from Trempealeau died in the Friday morning crash.
It happened on Highway 53, just west of Highway 54 near Galesville. An investigation shows a truck going east crossed the center line and hit Furlin’s vehicle. There was a one-year-old in the backseat of the SUV, who deputies say was not hurt. Furlin died at the hospital. The driver of the truck was severely hurt.
