Two Eau Claire businesses exposed to COVID-19

Local News

Eau Claire, Wis (WLAX/WEUX) – Eau Claire County is issuing a warning of a possible COVID-19 exposure risk at two Eau Claire businesses. The Eau Claire City County Health Department says Wagner Lanes’ inside bar and Olive Garden had a potential exposure in the last couple of weeks. The department says both locations are undergoing a public health investigation.

One person we talked to from the Eau Claire area says they are worried about getting COVID-19 and that Eau Claire restaurants should not be open for inside dining. “I worry about the spread of COVID still,” said Ashley Hansen, “because a lot of people are still vulnerable, and we have to watch out for other members of the community. I think it’s important for businesses to take the precautions in order to keep people safe.”

The Health Department says if you have been to the Olive Garden on June 4, 9, 10, and 11 between 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., or Wagner Lanes’ inside bar on June 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and are experiencing symptoms to call your healthcare provider and get tested for COVID-19.
