PEPIN COUNTY, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Two people are seriously hurt after a crash in Pepin County Thursday night.
This happened around 8 pm at the intersection of County Road T and Brantner Road between Durand and Rock Falls.
A preliminary investigation shows a car driven by 27-year-old Amanda Spindler of Durand was going west on T when she lost control and hit a tree at a high rate of speed.
Spindler suffered life-threatening injuries.
Her passenger, 29-year-old Jacob Bauer from Durand suffered serious injuries. The Pepin County Sheriff’s Office says impaired driving is believed to be a factor in the crash.
