HAMILTON, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Investigators are learning more about the victims of Friday’s triple homicide in La Crosse County.
In today’s update, the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office reports the three victims likely knew the suspect or suspects. Investigators also say it is likely they were killed at the entrance gate to Romskog Quarry in the township of Hamilton. That’s where the bodies were found early Friday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office there is no connection between the homicides and the quarry or its employees.
Investigators say saturday was spent conducting interviews in multiple states to learn more about the relationship of the victims and where they were on Thursday before they were killed.
The sheriff’s office says there is no danger to the public, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
